Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 8, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Geolyti, Inc. (“Geolyti,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the Geolyti website and product (the “Service”). It applies to account holders and visitors to our marketing site. It does not apply to the practices of third parties we don't control, including Paddle's handling of payment data as described in Section 5.
2. Information we collect
Account information. When you register, we collect your name (optional), email address, and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
Company and competitor information. During onboarding, you provide your company name, website, a description of what you do, your industry, and the names of two or three competitors. This information is used to generate your monitoring dataset and drafted content, and is visible only to your account.
Content you create. Drafts you generate or edit in Content Studio, and any dismissals or status changes you make on gaps and recommended actions, are stored against your account.
Billing information. Subscription and payment details are collected and processed directly by Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record. We receive and store only the subscription status, plan, and non-sensitive identifiers Paddle provides us (such as a customer reference ID) — we do not receive or store your card number or full billing address.
Usage data. We collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and timestamps, for security (including rate limiting and abuse prevention), analytics, and troubleshooting.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating your monitoring dataset and drafted content;
- To process payments and manage your subscription (via Paddle);
- To communicate with you about your account, changes to the Service, and (with your consent where required) product updates;
- To monitor, secure, and improve the Service, including detecting abuse and enforcing rate limits;
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. AI processing of your data
When you generate content in Content Studio, your company description, industry, and the relevant competitor name and gap context are sent to Anthropic's API to produce the draft. This is the only feature that sends your data to a third-party AI model for real-time processing. We do not send your account credentials or billing information to any AI provider. Anthropic processes this data under its own API terms and data usage policies; as of this writing, Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models by default. Monitoring and gap data elsewhere in the product is produced by our own simulation logic and is not sent to a third-party AI model unless you initiate a Content Studio generation.
5. How information is shared
We share information only as needed to run the Service:
- Paddle.com Market Limited — payment processing, billing, tax handling, and subscription management, as merchant of record for paid subscriptions;
- Anthropic — processes the inputs described in Section 4 solely to generate the content you request;
- Infrastructure and hosting providers — to host the application and database that store your account and company data;
- Legal and safety — if required to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Geolyti, our users, or others.
We do not share your Customer Data with other customers or use it to train any model we operate.
6. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in (session cookies) and to protect against cross-site request forgery. We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required by law, request your consent first.
7. Data retention
We retain account and company data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for a reasonable period in case you reactivate, after which it is deleted or anonymized, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or accounting purposes (for example, billing records retained per Paddle's and applicable tax requirements). You can request earlier deletion as described in Section 9.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted password hashing, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), rate limiting on sensitive endpoints, and access controls restricting who can view account data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most account and company information directly in the product. To request deletion of your account and associated data, or to exercise any other applicable right, contact us at privacy@geolyti.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (for example, 30 days under many frameworks).
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete, and opt out of certain data sharing, none of which involves the sale of personal information by us.
10. International data transfers
We and our service providers (including Paddle and Anthropic) may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for these transfers. [Placeholder — confirm hosting region(s) and applicable transfer mechanism during legal review.]
11. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will provide notice by email or in-app before the change takes effect where practicable. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
